New Direct flights from Cayman Brac to Jamaica

In addition to Saturday weekly Cayman Airways jet flights non-stop from Miami, Cayman Brac is scheduled to receive direct flights from Jamaica, in response to the calls of domestic travelers, according to the Jamaica Gleaner. 

Jamaica Air Shuttle - will spread its wings across the Caribbean, and the airline’s next stops are scheduled for Cayman Brac beginning on 2 July.

Although the Cayman Islands have been part of the Jamaican flight plan, with carriers such as Cayman Airways and Air Jamaica servicing the route to Grand Cayman, the sister island of Cayman Brac has not had direct flights from Jamaica for almost 50 years when there were direct flights by Cayman Brac Airways.

Mr Read said what normally took a full day of travel through other destinations will now take 35 minutes from Kingston on one of the airliners in the Jamaica Air Shuttle fleet.
